So Much For Sheehan Going Away

Remember Cindy Sheehan claiming she was done protesting and wanted out of the spotlight? Well, she lied. Now she’s announced her candidacy to run for the Congressional seat held by Dianne Feinstein because Feinstein is not liberal enough to suit Sheehan. Then she was banned by Markos Moulitsas’s uber-liberal Daily Kos blog where she was welcomed before. So the liberals are eating their own once again. So predictable.
Sheehan was confronted yesterday in Alabama by a gentleman who asked her directly, “What happens to Iraq after we leave?”
With predictable avoidance, Sheehan dodged, ducked and weaved verbally (and very badly at that) to NOT answer the question. NewsBusters has more on this including video. This just goes to show once again that Sheehan qualifies as a liberal extremist who won’t address the issue of the consequences of the actions she wishes would take place…namely the immediate and unconditional withdrawal of troops from Iraq and Afghanistan. Personally I hope she does run and manages somehow to get into a formal debate with Feinstein because even though I feel Feinstein is completely out of touch with America, I also feel Sheehan is out of touch with reality and that would be made apparent if she actually entered into any formal debate with Feinstein (or anyone else of any reasonable intelligence).

Another item to add to the long list of incompetent features of the U.S. House of Representatives, in it’s current form. The “surge” strategy in Iraq has only recently received the full compliment of troops and already has had dramatic …

Well this little contest should be interesting. I guess Sheehan is skinny enough to try to get to the left of Pelosi. It’s going to be a tight fit. The good thing is their debates are going to be like a new reality show. Since they are both in what ever reality they dwell in. Either one of them are scary enough alone never mind togeather. That is one mental picture I cannot let in my mind. It should be good for a giggle since they will be vieing for the all important position of everyone’s “favorite pet rock” it will I’m sure be spell binding.
