Hurricane Ike Photos
The following photos were taken on Friday, September 12 at various locations along or near the Texas Gulf Coast region. These can be found on the photos page of Houston’s KHOU-TV. Pictures of Hurricane Ike’s aftermath can be viewed also on KHOU-TV. I’m watching coverage on Fox News and I expect major damage from this storm that will rival, if not exceed, that of Hurricane Katrina.

These are three screencaps of live online streaming coverage from KTRK in Houston. The third screencap (bottom) is a live shot of a fire destroying Brennan’s Restaurant of Houston. This is a Brennan’s Restaurant owned by the Brennan family of New Orleans and the ironic and tragic thing is that several employees of Brennan’s in New Orleans moved to Houston after Hurricane Katrina and were hired by Brennan’s of Houston and now due to Hurricane Ike, Brennan’s of Houston burns and is a total loss according to Alex Brennan-Martin, a member of the Brennan family, who was too distraught to appear on-air.
