Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal

Newly Elected Governor Of Louisiana, Bobby Jindal

With the election of Bobby Jindal as the new Republican Governor of Louisiana and his pledge to remove corruption from Louisiana politics (something I will believe when I see it and frankly I don’t think Jindal will be able to do it but that’s blog fodder for another time), I had the following thoughts:

Does the Governor of Louisiana have the legal power to remove local, Parish and state officials? If so, I hope Jindal removes N.O. Mayor Ray Nagin, Police Chief Warren Riley and D.A. Eddie Jordan for gross misconduct, incompetence, & neglect.

When I heard the news, I called my family and asked their thoughts. I sensed a new found hope. As told, sometimes an outsider has more vision, problem solving techniques and application to get the job done. When we are emotionally attached to people or places our decision factor can be cloudy. Governor Jindal’s vision is NOT cloudy and as long as the GOOD PEOPLE OF LOUISIANA SUPPORT HIM - TO THE FULLEST - JINDAL WILL SUCCEED WITH THE VISION TO GIVE BACK THE DIGNITY TO ALL LOUISIANIANS - FAR AND NEAR. I am happy for the people of Louisiana.
