Pirate's Cove Restaurant

Pirate's Cove was a little restaurant on U.S. Highway 90 in Long Beach, Mississippi that served great po'boys. While my wife grew up in Gulfport, she'd drive out there for their roast beef po'boys. She introduced me to their po'boys when we were dating in college. Hurricane Katrina completely washed the restaurant away.

Pirate's Cove reopened in the shed you see above over in Pass Christian, Mississippi. Their po'boys are still extremely good and people are still seeking them out. Hopefully they will rebuild as soon as possible. The above picture is not one of mine but was taken by someone else and sent to me via email to show that they had reopened. We couldn't find the place when we went in June of 2006. However the following pictures were taken during our trip to Biloxi during the Thanksgiving 2006 holidays. The bad news was that they were closed for the holidays so we didn't partake of their po'boys until a subsequent trip the following Christmas. That's where the receipt came from. If you are in the Pass Christian area, stop by and enjoy some of their great po'boys and help out a locally owned business.
